Iranian TV: Pentagon video, audio fake

By ALI AKBAR DAREINI, Associated Press Writer 1 hour, 12 minutes ago

TEHRAN, Iran – Iran accused the United States on Wednesday of fabricating video and audio released by the Pentagon showing Iranian boats confronting U.S. warships in the Persian Gulf.

The video from Sunday’s incident shows small Iranian boats swarming around U.S. warships in the Strait of Hormuz. In the recording, a man speaking in heavily accented English threatened, “I am coming to you. … You will explode after … minutes.”

“The footage released by the U.S. Navy was compiled using file pictures and the audio has been fabricated,” an official in Iran’s Revolutionary Guards was quoted as saying by the state-run English-language channel Press TV.

State TV did not give the name of the Revolutionary Guard official and did not offer more details about how the official knew the footage was “fabricated.”

U.S. Defense Department spokesman Bryan Whitman said the “allegation is absurd, factually incorrect and reflects the lack of seriousness with which they take this serious incident.”

National Security Adviser Stephen Hadley warned Iran against more confrontations.

You guys have to watch the actual video. I found it on YouTube.

I watched this on the news and the only thing this video is missing is an audio from the supposed Iranian speedboats that said, in a very think Arab accent, “I am coming to you.” Now, looking at the size of the wake, it seems the filming is done from an aircraft carrier. Behind it you see a destroyer-class ship, and then 3 little bright blue speedboats with 4-5 people wearing bright orange vests running around. Later in the article the 3 boats are called the “Iranian fleet.” This is insane.

I can’t believe they’re putting this off as real. “I am coming to you!”???? Come on, they couldn’t have thought of a better phrase than that?

That’s just as bad as when they showed a “former terrorist” on CNN with his face all blacked out and with an accent that went from Arabic to Russian to just stupid-down right grammatically illiterate within 5 minutes. I wish I could show you that video. It made me sick to my stomach.

No wonder the Iranians are saying this video is fake. If they’re trying to make the speedboats out to be suicide bombers they couldn’t be more wrong. Iranians are not stupid. They don’t want to experience what Iraq is currently going through. But apparently, our government is still hell-bent on invading a peaceful sovereign country, like it’s been doing ever since it was created. Oh, and by the way, we already overthrew their government once and put the Shah as president until the people got so fed up with his dictatorship and his murders than they got fed up, had a revolution, and took over. I guess this is our government’s way of getting revenge.

I am so mad right now. They are doing this in OUR NAME. The people of the USA will be held responsible for all of these atrocities. It is our fault. We elected these creatures, put them in office, and to this day allow them to do whatever they please. On our heads are the deaths of the millions of Iraqi civilians, men, women, children, as well as all the other innocent people our military has killed over these past 200 years.

“Pentagon says ships harassed by Iran” or was it vice versa?

Pentagon says ships harassed by Iran

By ROBERT BURNS, AP Military Writer 1 hour, 25 minutes ago

WASHINGTON – An Iranian fleet of high-speed boats charged at and threatened to blow up a three-ship U.S. Navy convoy passing near Iranian waters, then vanished as the American ship commanders were preparing to open fire, the top U.S. Navy commander in the area said Monday. No shots were fired an an Iranian official in Tehran said the incident amounted to “something normal.”

Bush administration officials complained that the Iranian actions amounted to a dangerous provocation, but one private analyst said the Iranians may have believed they were acting defensively in a narrow waterway that is heavily trafficked by commercial ships, including oil vessels.

The incident raised new tensions between Washington and Tehran as President Bush prepared to depart Tuesday on his first major trip to the Middle East.

The three U.S. warships — cruiser USS Port Royal, destroyer USS Hopper and frigate USS Ingraham — were headed into the Persian Gulf through the Strait of Hormuz on what the U.S. Navy called a routine passage inside international waters when they were approached by five small high-speed vessels believed to be from Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy.

The Iranians “maneuvered aggressively” in the direction of the U.S. ships, said Vice Adm. Kevin Cosgriff, the commander of U.S. 5th Fleet, which patrols the Gulf and is based at nearby Bahrain. The U.S. ship commanders took a series of steps toward firing on the boats, which approached to within 500 yards, but the Iranians suddenly fled back toward their shore, Cosgriff said.

Cosgriff was not precise about the U.S. ships’ location but indicated they were about three miles outside Iran’s territorial waters, which extend 12 miles from its shores, headed in a westerly direction after having passed the narrowest point in the strait.

At one point the U.S. ships received a threatening radio call from the Iranians, “to the effect that they were closing (on) our ships and that the ships would explode — the U.S. ships would explode,” Cosgriff said.

Here you have a commander of an American Fleet who’s been sailing for many, many years, and he can’t be PRECISE about his location??? Think about that for a minute. To a sailor, even if he was captain of a shrimp boat, saying you were about “three miles outside Iran’s territorial waters” is like saying 5 + 5 equals something between 5 and 15. A captain knows the exact location of his boat at any given time and he should because, you know, the ocean’s kinda big and it’s easy to get lost.

Bottom line: They’re trying to stage another Gulf of Tonkin, just like Ron Paul said.

A lighthouse in an ocean of darkness

January 3, 2008 at 1:45 am (ADD/ADHD, AIDS, America, Avian Flu, Bacteria, Health, History, USA, Virus) (, , , , , , , , , )

A few days ago at work I was having a conversation with another nurse and somehow we ended up talking about colloidal silver. I did not know a lot of information on this topic, but Dr. Deagle talked about colloidal silver masks at the Granada Forum. I also watched a video on Google about a man who developed argyria from ingesting too much colloidal silver. The kidneys are unable to excrete these massive amounts of silver and so it gets deposited throughout the skin. People have used silver for centuries to purify water, kill bacteria, and cure themselves of various illnesses.

Whether it was coincidence, synchronicity, a sign from God, or all of them, I don’t know, but shortly after our conversation, a gentleman by the name of Robert Manfull came by our substation. He had come to visit a friend, one of my patients, who was hospitalized. I was in one of my patient’s rooms when he was out there talking to my colleague. I came out and being the nosy European that I am, i started listening to their conversation. He had given her a spray bottle sample of his SilverBiotics solution. So of course I asked for some and started talking to him about it.

He had some research articles and other information on this silver product, that is not really colloidal, but rather the solution contains supercharged silver particles. Each teaspoon contains 10 ppm of silver. The rest is just highly purified water. There is absolutely no risk of developing argyria from such a low dose of silver. The people who developed it usually made it themselves and the solutions contained between 50,000 to 300,000 ppm. Also, a lot of silver solutions don’t really contain silver, but rather silver salts. And that’s all silver does. There are no other side effects and although the blue color is usually permanent, that’s all it is. No chronic conditions accompany it.

So you’d think that such a low dose of silver wouldn’t really do anything, but the research studies have shown that some bacteria was killed with just 2-3 ppms. You can read more about this research on the American Biotech Labs site and on Mr. Manfull’s own website, Manfull Market.

The day after I met Mr. Manfull, I got a cold… the third one in 3 months. I felt miserable, so I started spraying some of the SilverBiotics solution in my nose because I figured if anything, it would loosen up some of the mucus that was stuck up there and making me unable to breathe (yeah, yeah, I know it sounds gross, but I’m a nurse and I talk about stuff like this while eating supper).

Well, this is the fourth day of my cold and my nose is still stuffed a little bit, but it’s not running and my eyes haven’t been teary since yesterday. Usually, around day 4-5, all the dams break loose and my eyes and nose drip and I am just miserable. Imagine trying to start an IV when you have to wipe your nose every 5 seconds. It sucks and it lasts for 3 days. I know… I’ve experienced it 2 times earlier this fall. Around day 7 I can safely say that I can breathe again. I think I bypassed all that stuff. Whether it was the silver solution that did it, the placebo, etc. I don’t care. I can breathe and that’s a good thing.

I think this silver product is going to be an advantage in our fight with all these new diseases that are being set loose, especially the avian flu that’s about to come out.

There are other neat products offered on his website and I suggest you guys should take a look at them. If you’re in doubt, research them. If you feel brave, try them out. Or buy some for your first aid kit. A 32 ppm solution disinfects just as well as rubbing alcohol. Unfortunately, the silver solution is painless. I say unfortunately because most nurses are sadists and like to see people in pain (lol just kidding!).

And if you end up turning blue because you decided to make your own silver solution, you can always pretend to be the new Krishna
