Didn’t it sound familiar when Musharraf blamed her killing on the “Islamic terrorists?” And isn’t it funny how these terrorists seem to do exactly what the president wants them to do? A president that nobody likes, a president that was so desperate to keep his power that he took down the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and put a friendly in his place (even though under the Constitution he was not allowed to do it).
And how convenient is that his opposition has been killed by a suicide bomber, who apparently could wield a gun good enough to shoot her in the neck and chest before he blew himself up?
My prayers go to her family and to the people of Pakistan. They have endured much, their only hope for better days has been killed, and they are devastated.
Let us remember them and make sure the same thing DOES NOT happen here.
Keep your eyes open and continue to learn. We are behind and we need to catch up…
